Deanna has been involved in Native American ministry since 1985 with her husband, Gerald, when they moved to Arizona to serve as dorm parents and teachers at a mission school. Gerald served as administrator of Native American Youth Ministries from its inception in 1997 to 2019.
Gerald worked diligently in God’s work until 2019. He is now in the presence of Jesus (II Cor. 5:8). Deanna’s role with NAYM is currently that of a Support Missionary, while she continues to teach at an inner city Phoenix elementary charter school.
She has 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
